Cardiologist: Dr G (Srini) Srinivasan
Srini graduated from the University of Madras, India in 1992 and gained experience in cardiology at the Madras Medical Mission.
He completed his advanced cardiology training at the Greenlane Cardiovascular Centre and Middlemore Hospital in Auckland and was awarded his FRACP in 2010.
Srini completed a Clinical Fellowship in cardiac magnetic resonance imaging at Flinders Medical Centre and is involved in clinical research projects in hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and heart failure.
In 2017 Srini established the inaugural Adelaide Cardiology Heart Failure Clinic at our Unley Road Clinic.
Nurse Practitioner: Kathryn O'Toole
Kath is a consultant cardiac Nurse Practitioner with extensive clinical experience in chronic cardiac care, secondary prevention and cardiac rehabilitation.
Kath was authorised as a Nurse Practitioner in 2011 after completing her Masters of Nursing - Nurse Practitioner at the University of South Australia.
In 2017 Kath joined Adelaide Cardiology and established our Cardiovascular Health & Rehabilitation program and our inaugural Heart Failure Clinic.
Kath is an integral member of the Heart Failure Clinic team consulting at the Unley Road and Modbury Heart Failure Clinics.
Kath manages the Titration Clinic focusing on the optimisation of pharmacotherapies, including a flexible diuretic regimen, patient/carer education, self-management strategies, lifestyle modifications and psychosocial support.
Cardiologist: Dr Luay Samaraie
Luay is a non-interventional Cardiologist who obtained his medical degree in Iraq, after which he moved to New Zealand to continue his post graduate training.
He completed his cardiology training in New Zealand at the Auckland and Middlemore Hospitals and was awarded his FRACP in 2011.
Luay moved to Australia to undertake a Fellowship in Cardiac MRI and Cardiac CT Coronary Angiography at the Royal Adelaide Hospital, and joined Adelaide Cardiology in 2013.
He has a special interest in non-invasive imaging of the heart, primary prevention of heart disease, the management of ischaemic heart disease and the treatment of heart failure.
In 2018 Luay established the Heart Failure Clinic at our Modbury Clinic.
