Dr Luay Samaraie
DR LUAY SAMARAIE
Luay is a non-interventional Cardiologist who obtained his medical degree in Iraq, after which he moved to New Zealand to continue his post graduate clinical cardiology training. He completed his cardiology training in New Zealand at the Auckland and Middlemore Hospitals and was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2011.
Luay moved to Australia to undertake a Fellowship in Cardiac MRI and Cardiac CT Coronary Angiography at the Royal Adelaide Hospital. Following his advanced cardiology training, Luay joined Adelaide Cardiology in 2013 as a Consultant Cardiologist.
He has a special interest in non-invasive imaging of the heart, primary prevention of heart disease, the management of ischaemic heart disease and the treatment of heart failure. Luay consults and performs non-invasive imaging investigations with Adelaide Cardiology at the St Andrew’s Medical Centre and our the Leabrook, Modbury, Mount Barker, Clare and Broken Hill Clinics.
