Prof Stephen Worthley
Stephen graduated from the University of Adelaide conducting his internal medicine and cardiology training at the Royal Adelaide Hospital.
He undertook a PhD in Magnetic Resonance Imaging of Atherosclerosis at the Mount Sinai Medical Centre, New York then returned to Monash Medical Centre, Melbourne to complete his interventional training and undertook an MD in Intravascular Imaging of Atherosclerosis.
Stephen joined Adelaide Cardiology in 2002 working at Wakefield and St Andrew’s Hospitals. He is the inaugural Helpman Professor of Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Adelaide.
He is interested in all aspects of clinical cardiology but has particular interests in interventional cardiology (both coronary and structural) and cardiac MR and CT.
